Drama is a key aspect of the cultural life of Cranford House.
All of our pupils study drama and we believe that Drama plays a crucial role in developing the pupils' communication and performance skills, encouraging their appreciation of theatre as an art form, and developing their understanding of how Drama can be used to explore human behaviour and relationships in a variety of social and cultural contexts.
There are two large-scale school productions a year, one for the Junior and one for the Senior pupils. The department organises numerous theatre trips.
LAMDA at Cranford House
Cranford House is working in conjunction with LAMDA (The London Academy of Music and Dramtic Art), to offer our pupils the wonderful opportunity to take part in LAMDA drama lessons.
